Visiting Dublin was already on Rockoff’s bucket list when he arrived in May 2024, unbeknownst to him coinciding with the inaugural Dublin Street Photography Festival. Inspired by the city, its sometimes eccentric but generally warm and friendly inhabitants, the festival itself, and the friendships formed with photographers Brian Sparks and Tony O’Shea, he captured analog images that presented themselves as he explored the city’s sights. The experience was so enjoyable that he returned the following May, again limiting himself to Dublin city and the coastal towns of Dublin County.

Shot on film, the photographs are unplanned and instinctive – made, as Rockoff puts it, during “two springtime holidays when photographing on the streets was a passion.”
