Celebrating in St. Johns this Spring? Franklin Foto will offer free photo booth portraits in St Johns in conjunction with the St. Johns Spring Fling, Saturday, April 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. But the big event is the St. Johns Bizarre/St. Johns Parade, Saturday May 10, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Franklin Foto will have an analog black & white photo booth set up at our facility on May 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors to the St. Johns Bizarre and parade attendees are invited to stop by to have their portraits taken for no charge!

Portraits will be shot using a 4×5 view camera with paper negatives. Two darkroom prints will be made from each negative; you get one to keep and the other will be hung on our gallery walls. The “St. Johns Springtime Photo Booth Project” exhibition will be created as a “pop-up” exhibition that builds itself as the day progresses. The “opening reception” of the exhibit will coincide with the shooting and hanging of the show.

The “St. Johns Springtime Photo Booth Project” will run from May 10 to June 1.

The St. Johns Bizarre is a fantastic street festival in “downtown” St. Johns with tons of great food, art, live music, a beer garden and more! It coincides with the 63rd Annual St. Johns Parade. Come down and be a part of the community celebration!
