LightBox Photographic Gallery opens two exhibits on Saturday, March 12th. “Majestic”, is an Exhibit of Photographs by Astoria’s Jody Miller, exemplified by some of her most powerful images of the world around us. Jody Miller will be in the gallery from 4 – 7pm. Also opening on March 12th is “Inside Lives”, an Exhibit by John Ritchie inspired by the challenge of COVID isolation. John Ritchie photographed people inside their homes, photographing from outside the building at night, separated from the subjects by glass while they enact a private drama within. These scenes portray imaginary lives lived both inside our homes and within our heads.
